Nordic Semiconductor has revealed that Yinzida Technology, a consumer electronics manufacturer, has designed a 2.4GHz wireless audio transmission module that enables high fidelity wireless audio in applications such as microphones, musical instruments or audio headsets. This out-of-the-box, lossless and stable wireless audio solution is ideal for battery-powered designs with zero-delay DSP pipeline, using Nordic's nRF52832 SoC in both transmitter and receiver.

UK manufacturer PMC has launched a new multichannel amplifier specifically designed to meet the needs of the professional immersive audio and home cinema markets requiring multiple speakers. Designed for PMC by British manufacturer Linea Research, the eight-channel 750-8 is able to power any passive PMC speaker, offering a massive power output of 750 watts per channel, or 1,500 watts per channel when bridged and configured as a four-channel amplifier.
