The new family consists of the BG22E, MG22E, and FG22E, with "E" standing for "energy conservation."

Gunnar Rasmussen founded GRAS in 1994, at the age of 67, after leaving Brüel & Kjær, where he worked since his graduation. Starting out as a small family business, run by Gunnar Rasmussen and his wife Hanna Hertz, the Danish measurement microphones specialist quickly grew into a respected manufacturer, lead by his extraordinary vision and guiding principles. His lifework improved our understanding of sound, acoustics and the human hearing.
Resideo to Acquire Control4, Triad Audio and Other Snap One Brands
Resideo Technologies, a manufacturer and distributor of security and audiovisual products and solutions, and Snap One Holdings Corp., the agglomerate company that acquired Control4 and offers all types of products and services to professional integrators, have announced a definitive agreement for Resideo to acquire Snap One for $10.75 per share in cash and a transaction value of approximately $1.4 billion, inclusive of net debt. Upon closing, Snap One will integrate into Resideo's ADI Global Distribution business.
Input-Output Impedance Matching – Or Not
In analog audio, you often must connect a source to a “receiver” unit. Pre-amp to power amp, phono preamp to an active crossover, the crossover to the power amp, that sort of stuff. Each of these units has an input impedance and an output impedance spec. I often get questions like: “My power amp has 20kΩ input impedance, my preamp has 100Ω output impedance, and maximum load is specified as 10kΩ. Will that work together or will I break something?”.
