Harman International Industries has opened an Audio Engineering Lab in Kvistgaard, Denmark, aiming to research and develop new headphone audio technologies. Harman's newest audio lab, dedicated to hearables development, is the first of its kind in Europe, benefiting from pool of audio and acoustic engineers that graduate from Denmark universities, among other advantages. Triangle Introduces Capella Active Connected Speakers Featuring WiSA Wireless
Another week, and another European manufacturer announces a new WiSA HT wireless product launch. French hifi speaker manufacturer Triangle announced its classic-looking but cutting-edge Capella connected active speakers with DSP. The Capella is actually a fully integrated system, with complete wired and wireless connectivity, centralized in a Stereo Hub. The bookshelf speakers feature a horn-loaded tweeter with a magnesium dome, and a 6" paper cone woofer. Triangle sells the Capella system with optional speaker stands, a calibration microphone, and even a matching turntable with built-in preamp.
Listen Launches SoundCheck Version 22 with Python Integration and Many New Features
Listen released SoundCheck 22. This update introduces many new features focusing on integration and flexibility for both production and R&D users. These include a new Python Integration module which enables SoundCheck to communicate with many devices and software programs using Python scripts, a new crest factor algorithm, a new multi-channel FFT analyzer, and additional post-processing tools. There are also significant upgrades to the statistics functionality, signal generator, metadata and more. SoundCheck 22 also operates on Apple Silicon processors with significant performance advantages.
