Pro-Ject Launches Upgraded Debut EVO 2 Turntable
Another week and another Pro-Ject turntable. Following the surprising XA B and the Debut PRO B, the Austrian manufacturer now announced the latest addition to the Debut Series, the Debut EVO 2. Advancing the design of its predecessor, the new Debut EVO 2 now uses the same tonearm bearing block and record platter as the just announced Debut PRO B. By moving away from the steel platter, it welcomes moving coil cartridges as one of many enhancements. The incorporation of the Pick it MM EVO phono cartridge and improved motor isolation are other highlights.
Marantz Launches MODEL 10 Reference Integrated Amplifier
Marantz unveiled its new 10 Series Collection, which consists of three reference-quality high-end audio stereo products, all designed at the renowned Shirakawa Audio Works in Japan. The series will include the Reference SACD 10 player and the LINK 10n Reference Network Audio Player, which will be released later in 2024. For now, Marantz launched the MODEL 10 Reference Integrated Amplifier, which uses Purifi-licensed Class-D technology.

NAD Electronics has announced the launch of new firmware for its network-controlled rack-mounted distribution amplifiers which bring an improved webUI for simpler configuration alongside a host of new features. Installers will now be able take advantage of a new dashboard on their CI 16-60, CI 8-120, and CI 8-150 amplifiers, to clearly view amplifier status, a new zone configuration area, as well as further DSP controls like limiters, delay, phase control and EQ adjustments.
