Beyma Expands Product Catalogue with High-Efficiency Options at Prolight+Sound 2016
Beyma introduced several new products this year at the Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt. Additions to the company’s catalogue include new compression drivers in neodymium and ferrite versions, low frequency speakers with new optimized pressed steel frame designs for very diverse applications and a new high quality pleated diaphragm tweeter. The new shallow mid frequency range was another highlight at Beyma’s booth in Frankfurt.
Media Networking Alliance Promotes Biggest AES67 Live Demo at NAB 2016
At the 2016 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, the Media Networking Alliance (MNA) hosted an expanded live AES67 demonstration between networked components operating with RAVENNA, Dante and Livewire AoIP transports. This was the largest demonstration of AoIP interoperability so far, following first public demonstrations at the AES NY convention and ISE 2016 exhibition.

RCF Announces Firmware Update and Unveils Expansion To RCF M Series Mixers
Following their successful launch in 2015, RCF’s M 08 and M 18 digital mixers will now enjoy enhanced functionality thanks to the latest firmware update. NUGEN Audio Releases 9.1 Option for Halo Upmix With Full Support for Dolby Atmos and Overhead Positioning
NUGEN Audio unveiled an all-new option for Halo Upmix, the company’s solution for upmixing stereo audio to surround. The 9.1 option allows the introduction of vertical positioning into the upmix, generating a 7.1.2 (Dolby Atmos) bed track-compatible upmix.
