New VM-Type Moving Magnet Phono Cartridges from Audio-Technica
Responding to the exponential growth in turntable sales, Audio-Technica introduced its VM-Type moving magnet phono cartridges, employing the company’s patented V-shaped Dual Magnet design along with a host of modern improvements. The nine models in the VM lineup include three different cartridge bodies and three different stylus shapes, to deliver optimized playback of all types of stereo, mono and 78 RPM records.

Auro Technologies to Provide Auro-3D and Other Audio Technologies to RDA Microelectronics
Belgium-based immersive audio technology company, Auro Technologies announced a five-year agreement with Chinese chipmaker RDA Microelectronics to implement its technology offerings, such as Beautifyer, Auro-Matic 2D, Auro-Matic 3D, Auro-Cx Decoder, Auro-Cx Engine, and others on RDA's chips. The strategic agreement has the potential to place Auro's sound technologies in billions of mobile and consumer electronic devices.

RAVENNA Showcases Interoperability Demo Rack with MNA at ISE 2017
Interoperability continues to make headlines for RAVENNA at ISE 2017. Taking pride of place on the RAVENNA stand (7-V210) in partnership with the Media Networking Alliance (MNA) is a RAVENNA demo rack that will be used to demonstrate AES67 interoperability.
