Lavoce Italiana will be launching its SAN214.50, a new high power 21” neodymium magnet subwoofer at Prolight+Sound 2017 in Frankfurt (4-7 April). The new large subwoofer features a stylish die-cast aluminium basket, in line with the brand’s most recent range of products, and offers an impressive 98.5dB sensitivity and a Program Power handling capability of 3400W.

Astro Spatial Audio Debuts Stagetracker II at Prolight+Sound 2017
At Prolight+Sound 2017, Astro Spatial Audio (ASA) is introducing its next-generation performer tracking solution to its leading object-based 3D audio platform, creating what the Belgium company believes to be "the industry’s most powerful combination of immersive entertainment technologies". Named Astro Spatial Tracking, the system is based on the pinpoint accuracy of the newly designed Stagetracker II engine, developed in cooperation with TTA Sound.
Ferrofish Introduces VERTO, Pulse16 and A32 DANTE Converters at Prolight+Sound 2017
Ferrofish is presenting three new products at Prolight+Sound 2017 in Frankfurt (April 4-7). The German manufacturer is introducing its new Pulse 16 converter, which offers 16 analog inputs and outputs and just as many ADAT channels. Likewise entirely new are the three units of the VERTO series. These are format converters that make possible an integration of MADI or ADAT equipment into a Dante network. In addition, for such networks, Ferrofish is showing the A32 DANTE, a variant of its popular A32 converter.
Cadac Debuts CDC Seven and Latest CDC Console Software at Prolight+Sound 2017
Revealed at the AES convention in Los Angeles, September 2016, Cadac Holdings is now shipping its new CDC seven digital mixing console, which builds still further on the heritage of the flagship CDC eight and success of the medium format CDC six models. The new CDC Seven offers all of the power and operational simplicity of the CDC six with the enhanced production capabilities of an expanded dual 23.5-inch 16:9 touch screens and fader count with increased I/O. Cadac is also launching new V4.0 software for the series.
Radial's LX-3 and LX-2 Passive Line Splitters Now Shipping
The new Radial LX-2 and LX-3 are passive line-level splitters that distribute a balanced audio signal to multiple destinations noiselessly. Both units feature premium Jensen isolation transformers for exceptional audio quality, and XLR/1/4” combo inputs for easy connectivity. The LX-2 features a trim control to attenuate the input, allowing to reduce the level from hard-driven mic pre’s to avoid clipping. Both units have ground lifts on each XLR output to further reduce buzz and hum from ground loops, ensuring that the signal reaches each destination noise-free.
