Harbottle Audio Announces New TSADvS Subwoofer Series
FWA and Harbottle Audio announced the release of the TSADvS (pn: tee-sad-vee-es) drivers to the ODM market. A high power handling, low distortion, low compression, pro audio subwoofer focused on efficiency and sound quality. The TSADvS series features a neodymium overhung motor topology with vast amounts of motor venting. The TSADvS series features 18-inch and 21-inch models.
Sonarworks Adds New Headphone Models to its True-Fi Software
European audio software developer Sonarworks announced the addition of more than ten new headphone models to its consumer headphone calibration software platform, True-Fi. The new headphone profiles, which have been meticulously measured and incorporated as a complimentary software upgrade for existing True-Fi users, include popular models from Audio Technica, beyerdynamuc, Sennheiser, Sony, Plantronics and even the Bose QuietComfort 35 II.
Harman Implements DSP Group’s SmartVoice Technology for their Sonique Total Voice Solution
Voice UI chipset specialist DSP Group, and Harman International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced their cooperation implementing voice input technology, based on DSP Group’s SmartVoice Audio/voice SoC and HDClear far-field multi-mic algorithms. The cooperation will enable expanding Harman's Sonique Total Voice Solution platform into a new generation of voice-enabled products.
NTi Audio Introduces XL2 Remote Control via Web Browser
Remote monitoring of noise is getting easier. NTi Audio's XL2 Sound Level Meter functions can now be remotely controlled directly from a web browser, allowing a remote display on any smartphone, tablet or computer with a web browser. This allows level measurements to be executed remotely from the technicians' desk at home as if they were standing next to the instrument. Also, all recorded measurement data is immediately available for download.

McIntosh Now Offers MCT500 SACD/CD Transport with Front Panel USB Input
McIntosh announced their new MCT500 SACD/CD Transport. The new transport has been designed to replay SACD/CD discs, plus a wide range of audio formats stored on USB flash drives and user-generated CD and DVD Data discs. All common disc types can be played on the MCT500, including SACD, CD, CD-R/RW and DVD-R. In addition, popular file formats such as AAC, AIFF, ALAC, DSD (up to DSD128), FLAC, MP3, WMA and WAV (up to 24-bit/192kHz) WMA can be played from discs and USB drives.
