Celestion Introduces New Products at NAMM Believe in Music 2021
Celestion introduced a number of new products at their virtual booth during this year’s winter NAMM show, Believe in Music 2021. As it would do at the Anaheim Convention Center, Celestion used the online event to show a number of new products and holding sessions of interest to everyone from guitar and bass players, to recording and mixing engineers, to live sound professionals and loudspeaker engineering teams. Highlights include the two new G12M-50 Hempback and Neo V Type guitar speakers.
Sensory Opens VoiceHub Online Portal Allowing Developers to Quickly Implement Voice Recognition to Any Project
Following demonstrations to the industry, Sensory announced the official release of VoiceHub; the fast, free and flexible online portal for creating and designing accurate natural language, voice user interfaces. With the official release of VoiceHub and the companion apps for Android and iOS, the company has integrated support for TrulyNatural, its large vocabulary speech recognition solution that runs on device with customizable natural language understanding (NLU) capabilities.
ASI Audio Announces Updated Version of 3DME Music Enhancement IEM System With Bluetooth Control
Following the concept originally introduced at NAMM 2020, a year later ASI Audio x Sensaphonics announced the imminent release of an upgraded version of its 3DME Music Enhancement system. The new version will incorporate Bluetooth connectivity for the included ASI Audio App, enabling set-up and control via any current iOS or Android device. The core 3DME system remains unchanged, using patented Active Ambient technology to give the user natural room sound from their monitor mix, their bandmates, and the audience.
Earin Unveils Next-Generation a-3 True Wireless Earbuds With Compact Loose-Fit Design
Earin, the technology company from Malmö, Sweden, and pioneer of the original true wireless concept, used CES 2021 to unveil its third-generation of premium earbuds, the A-3. Backed by an impressive Kickstarter community, Earin was one of the first companies to actually ship true wireless in-earphones in 2015 and they immediately set the bar high in extremely compact earbuds. The new A-3 is now a more mature Bluetooth 5 product that combines a new loose-fit design with improved audio quality.
Resonado Labs Debuts FCS Bidirectional Speaker Driver at CES 2021
Audio technology startup Resonado Labs continues to expand on its patented Flat Core Speaker (FCS) technology, taking on conventional, century-old speaker principles. Evolving on its FCS principles, Resonado debuted a dual-sided speaker driver at CES 2021. FCS Bidirectional allows for a diaphragm to be bonded to both sides of a voice coil. This design offers unique opportunities for very wide sound coverage as well as being particularly well suited for dipole type loudspeaker systems.
Oticon Introduces Oticon More Hearing Aid with On-Board Deep Neural Network
Hearing aid manufacturer Oticon is challenging once again the conventions of hearing aid technology and looking at ways to leverage the latest advancements in edge-processing. The company launched Oticon More, the first-ever hearing aid built with an on-board deep neural network (DNN), to give people with mild-to-severe hearing loss a fuller, more balanced and more effortless hearing experience. The goal is to enhance hearing with an AI engine trained on real-life sounds.

Klipsch Unveils T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones with Bragi OS and Dirac Sound Optimization
The results of an extended collaboration between Klipsch, Dirac and Bragi were finally unveiled at CES 2021. The famous consumer audio brand (a VOXX International company), teamed up with Dirac's digital audio processing experts, and the pioneers in hearables and creators of the Bragi Software Suite with embedded AI, to create the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC Earphones, which will be launched later in 2021.
Samsung Unveils Galaxy Buds Pro True Wireless Earbuds with ANC
As a much touted unofficial closing event for CES, Samsung Electronics introduced its latest line of Galaxy smartphones. As the annual tradition mandates, apart from smartphones of multiple sizes, some of which come with a stylus, Samsung also introduced accessories for those phones. In this case, an updated set of True Wireless Earbuds with improved sound quality and intelligent ANC, available in multiple colors, including purple. As a differentiator, the Buds Pro use a two-way driver design.
Yamaha Launches MSP3A Compact Powered Monitors With Twisted Flare Port
Yamaha has announced a new addition to its professional loudspeaker range, the MSP3A powered monitor, building on the sound reproduction and convenience features of the existing MSP3 model. The new compact design features a 22-watt built-in amplifier, Twisted Flare Port for clearer bass, and offers a variety of inputs, controls and optional support brackets, making it ideal for nearfield in home and project studios, post-production, monitoring electronic instruments and for surround reproduction.
