Alpine Becomes the First Aftermarket Car Audio Company with TIDAL Integration
Alps Alpine North America launched its TIDAL integration available via a free software update. The compatible head units include the new Alpine Halo11 iLX-F511, the Alpine Halo9 iLX-F509, the iLX-507, and Jeep-specific radios i509-WRA-JK and i509-WRA-JL. Alpine is the first aftermarket car audio company with full TIDAL integration, allowing subscribers to the service to stream and download hi-res files in MQA format or lossless audio at CD quality.

Haniwa Audio to Debut Time-Aligned Subwoofer System at the New York Audio Show
Haniwa Audio will be unveiling its latest full range speaker system, including what the Japanese company calls a time-aligned stereo "super subwoofer" extension, for the first time at the New York Audio Show (9-10 September). The company is famous for its single driver Haniwa HSP01 speakers and integrated amplifier/DSP, which together ensure simultaneous phase and frequency control to deliver "the world’s most accurate music reproduction system." The addition of the new "super subwoofers" now extends the system's response.
