The fully-integrated ams device offers noise cancellation with very low power consumption, making it ideal for headsets, headphones and ear pieces.

The MIPI Alliance announced an updated version of its MIPI M-PHY specification, a physical layer interface that supports chip-to-chip and multimedia protocols and applications. According to the latest industry report released by the Consumer Electronics Association, retail revenues for the consumer electronics industry are now projected to grow 2.4 percent in 2015 to reach $285 billion, led by 101 percent year-over-year growth in emerging product categories.
