Riedel Unveils Ultra-Light Bolero Mini Wireless Intercom Beltpack

At IBC2025, Riedel Communications unveiled Bolero Mini, the company’s lightest and flattest wireless intercom beltpack to date. Designed to deliver maximum mobility, Bolero Mini combines Bolero’s wireless performance and audio clarity with a discreet form factor that weighs less than a smartphone — making it ideal for stage talent, rigging crews, and anyone who values freedom of movement without compromise. During the Amsterdam show, Riedel also confirmed the acquisition of hi human interface from Broadcast Solutions.

Hollyland unveiled its next-generation wireless intercom system, delivering unprecedented scale and flexibility for broadcast and professional production operations. The Solidcom H1 system sets new benchmarks for large-venue wireless communications with beltpacks that use AntennaWare's BodyWave antenna technology, enabling greater and more robust roaming capability, at around 50% of the cost of comparable competitor products.

German audio metering pioneer RTW announced a new Speech Intelligibility Meter, developed in cooperation with Fraunhofer IDMT. At IBC 2025, the company showcased further advanced metering solutions for immersive audio and AI-powered analysis based on is new TMxCore audio metering platform. RTW also announced a new Network Display feature for its TouchMonitor 5 and TouchControl 5 platforms, allowing users to display metering or monitoring in a standard web browser, completely independent of the device’s on-screen content.

Shure unveiled its DCA901 Planar Array Microphone at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam. The new MEMS-based array solution advances the field of far-field audio capture in broadcast sports, studio, and live event production, basically replacing 8 traditional shotgun microphones in any configurable and variable area, from a single Dante- and PoE-connected device. The Shure DCA901 features digitally steerable lobes and onboard digital signal processing, allowing operators to remotely isolate and track sound sources, while reducing ambient noise in the mix.

Nixer Pro Audio is debuting its CV1 — a compact all-in-one Audio-over-IP (AoIP) monitoring unit — at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Designed for broadcast control rooms, production suites, recording studios, and live performance workflows, the new monitoring tool addresses evolving demands of quality, speed, and streamlined operations in those environments. With a single large and highly readable display, the CV1 optimizes integration with external reference active monitors and advanced loudness metering.

With the growing adoption of Dante audio networking for critical live performance and broadcast applications, Solid State Logic is making connectivity even simpler with the introduction of the MPL 16-8 Stagebox. The new IP-native unit delivers streamlined integration with SSL’s System T mixing platforms, adding high-performance audio I/O to budget-conscious setups. With the new stagebox, SSL also announced the new version of SSL Live V6.1 software, delivering powerful enhancements for immersive mixing workflows and greater flexibility for its live sound mixers.
