Here Are All the EISA 2025-2026 Awards in Audio Categories

The Expert Imaging & Sound Association (EISA) revealed the winners of its 2025-2026 Awards. Technical experts from over 54 specialist magazines and websites in 27 countries across the world have recognized and awarded the best products in their categories. The 43rd edition of the awards recognizes stand-out products in hifi, home theater, mobile and car audio. This year there are again surprises and predictable winners, but the unexplainable absence of leading products in home audio, personal audio, and particularly in the true wireless category continues.

FiiO (FiiO Electronics Technology Company), a Chinese manufacturer from Guangzhou established in 2007 by a team of engineers from OPPO - and one of the rare examples of a decent brand name - announces the launch of its new K15 Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier. This new model, described as a "trickledown" version of the FiiO K17, was carefully engineered to hit a price point which is half the price of any rival, and leverages the latest AK4497S Velvet Sound DAC from Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM) in a dual configuration.

The FiiO K7 is a balanced desktop amplifier featuring dual THX AAA 788+ amp technology, USB/Optical/Coax/RCA inputs, and both 6.3mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs. Leveraging the latest AKM redesigned high-end Velvet Sound AK4493S D/A converters (DAC), also in dual channel configuration, the new FiiO K7 supports high-resolution audio up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256, retailing for just US $199.

CanJam NYC 2017 took place on February 4-5, 2017, in the fabulous Broadway Ballroom at the New York Marriott Marquis, right in the heart of Times Square. Over 2000 earphone and headphone fanatics swarmed over the 55 table-top booths (showing about 100 brands).
