Harman Updates Trio of ARCAM Radia Integrated Amplifiers at CEDIA Expo 2025

One of the highlights in the expanded Harman and Samsung booth at CEDIA Expo 2025 was ARCAM’s latest Radia Series of hifi components, originally launched in 2023, and which immediately set a new standard for performance and design. The debut of the Radia Series was followed in 2024 by the addition of a new streamer and two new streaming amplifiers. Now, ARCAM added three new improved integrated amplifiers – A5+, A15+, and A25+ – that combine upgraded circuitry, next-gen Bluetooth, and enhanced design. Hence the “plus” marks.

Peak Amplification, a division of Elytone, announced the launch of its first GaN–based amplifier module co-developed with Infineon at CEDIA Expo 2025 in Denver (Booth 739). The first in a new generation of products that Peak believes will outperform traditional silicon-based Class-D amplifiers, the new amplifier module leverages the latest CoolGaN and MERUS devices from Infineon and already offers higher performance audio, higher power density, and significantly cooler and more efficient operation.

Swedish audio processing pioneer Dirac announced that Dirac Live Active Room Treatment – alongside Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control – will be available on AudioControl’s latest Hyperion series of home theater processors and receivers. The new luxury home theater series becomes the first from AudioControl to feature these Dirac room correction technologies, unlocking next-generation immersive experiences. Designed for professional calibrators and custom installers, the Hyperion series will be available beginning in Q4 2025.

Ascendo Unveils HALO 10 Pro Active EXT Cardioid Speaker at CEDIA Expo 2025

The new HALO 10 Pro Active EXT Cardiod from Ascendo Immersive Audio is a three-way active speaker with a peculiar circular configuration. As Ascendo explains, unlike conventional speakers that radiate sound omnidirectionally, often causing unwanted reflections and bass buildup, the HALO 10 directs low-frequency energy forward, minimizing rear-wall interactions. In the middle, there’s a 10” midrange driver (operating from 200Hz up) paired coaxially with a 3” compression driver, surrounded by six 8” woofers in a cardioid array.
