New IMF Specification for Broadcast and Online Content Exchange
There is a new important file specification for media exchange now specified by the SMPTE and published in document number SMPTE TSP 2121:2018, titled "IMF Application DPP (ProRes)." This new specification was proposed by the Digital Production Partnership (DPP) and builds on the existing Interoperable Master Format (IMF) standard developed and published by the SMPTE, which was originally designed for streamlining the distribution of premium feature film content.

Stetron announced the development of a 520Hz low frequency new miniature loudspeaker designed especially for the Fire Alarm and Protection Industry. Featuring a slim design with a Mylar cone, which renders it water resistant, the Stetron D0057008NM127AR low frequency driver was designed to be used in UL217 approved products and complies with UL 217 performance requirements. This low profile driver is able to achieve high SPL, with a small foot print of only 2.25" (57mm).
