MaxLinear WAV600 Series-2 Chipset Selected for Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi 6 Release 2 Certification Test Bed
MaxLinear, the provider of radio frequency (RF), analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, announced that their WAV600 Series-2 Chipset SoCs have been selected as access point test bed devices for the Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 Release 2 certification process. The test bed uses a MaxLinear WAV615 and two MaxLinear WAV665 Wi-Fi Transceiver SoCs to enable tri-band interoperability testing at 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, delivering on performance and increased network capacity.
Cambridge Audio Announces New Turntables at CES 2022
British hi-fi specialist Cambridge Audio has announced two new additions to its Alva turntable range: Alva TT V2 and Alva ST - one being a direct drive design and the other a belt-drive. Unveiled for the first time at CES 2022 in Las Vegas, the new Alva turntables build on the success of the company's previous Alva TT – launched in 2019 as the world’s first turntable with aptX HD Bluetooth built-in. The new Alva TT V2 and Alva ST turntables are scheduled to be available in Spring 2022, priced at $1,999 and $999 respectively.

The company's technology is the smallest speaker solution of its type, and will be presented as a 1.5x1.5mm single driver or an SDS array, enabling applications from earphones to stereo reproduction in consumer devices.
