Dirac Debuts Immersive Venue-Based Acoustics Technologies in Third-Generation NIO ES8

Introduced during NIO Day 2025, in Hangzhou, China, the new NIO ES8 features Dirac's most advanced in-car audio technologies, Reference Room Mode, and Dirac Dimensions technologies. According to the Swedish digital audio processing pioneer, the all-new third-generation NIO ES8 sets a new standard for giving passengers an acoustically authentic experience, turning the car cabin instantly into a studio, stage, or hall room.

Audison, the renowned Italian car audio brand owned by Elettromedia Group, announced the release of its highly anticipated bit Drive 2.0 update for DSP products, featuring ACCORDO, an auto-tuning software tool. According to Audison, this cutting-edge technology auto-tunes car audio systems with time and phase alignment to a target curve with a simple step-by-step process. The solution only requires one microphone and no additional expensive external hardware.

In July 2022, the Saffelberg Investment group acquired all assets, teams and rights of AURO-3D and founded a new company, Newauro, with the intention to further support the growth of the format and technology suite across all markets. Based in Belgium like the original Auro Technologies company, Newauro announced that it's collaborating with Eastech to demonstrate its latest AURO-Scene virtual immersive audio technology at CES 2024.
