James Loudspeaker introduced the Modular Indoor/Outdoor Theater structure, a dramatically innovative approach to delivering all available surround formats to any environment in a high-performance, fully custom free-standing form factor. The Modular Indoor/Outdoor Theater is a built-to-size aluminum structure to be assembled onsite, housing all of the required loudspeaker components for any surround format. The system is compatible with an array of subwoofer options depending on the décor and acoustic requirements of each room.

New Organizational Structure for Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound Shows

Following criticism from exhibitors, the press and visitors regarding mixed results in the 2016 editions of the Prolight+Sound and Musikmesse shows, Messe Frankfurt announced a new organizational structure for optimum interlinkage of the two shows. Michael Biwer, previously responsible for Prolight+Sound, is now responsible for key account management and the strategic planning of both events, which will return to a more coordinate model in 2017.

I have hardly had time to recover from another edition of Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound 2016 and catch up on all the announcements and what we have seen there - and it was plenty. So, was it worth? Indeed. But I couldn't help returning from Frankfurt with an uncomfortable feeling and the clear perception that this was the worst Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound ever. I will elaborate because there are lessons to be learned.
