Improving a Workhorse: Peavey Unveils SP 2P Powered Speaker System

Expanding on the popular SP Series for live audio performance, the SP 2P features two switching power amplifiers, as well as professional grade speaker components that the brand says deliver clarity and impact beyond conventional powered enclosures. With the Peavey SP 2P, users will find a reasonably priced loudspeaker system capable of up to 130 dB peak SPL, ideal for a variety of sound reinforcement and public address applications, including as a side fill system for stage.

Following a surprising introduction of its first passive speaker series at NAMM 2016, QSC has meanwhile confirmed its full E Series range is now shipping. The new QSC E Series takes advantage of advanced DSP when used as part of a complete QSC System, ideally complemented with the company’s powerful PLD and GXD amplifiers and TouchMix Digital Mixers. The new loudspeaker range is part of QSC highlights for Prolight+Sound 2016.
