Q Acoustics Makes a Cutting Edge Design Statement with New Concept 300 Loudspeaker

Q Acoustics' flagship loudspeaker, the Concept 500 floorstander, arrived with an elegant design and innovative audio technology, delivering an audiophile performance way beyond what is expected of its £3,999/$5,999 price point, while allowing everyone to enjoy high-end sound in the home. Now the brand unveiled the Concept 300s (£2,999/$4,499), a new flagship standmount speaker that leverages the same technology created for their Concept 500 floorstanders. The Concept 300s will be available in March 2019.

UK audio brand Q Acoustics recently opened a direct-to-consumer webstore in the US and now announced a new range of hi-fi speakers with the mission of making genuine premium design products affordable to a mainstream audience. The new 3000i speaker series consists of the 3050i ($799) large floorstander, the compact 3010i ($249) and the mid-sized 3020i ($299). All incorporate technology originally designed for Q Acoustics flagship speaker, Concept 500 ($6K), sold at accessible price points.

The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards 2017-2018 have been announced. Already listed at www.eisa.eu, the EISA Awards 2017-18 recognize performance and innovation in Consumer Electronics, including audio categories in hi-fidelity, home theater and mobile. This year the awards have a strong European flavor in the higher end home categories, with Japan and Asia in general dominating the home theater items. Exception for a US brand, JBL takes two awards in personal audio.
