Sennheiser Teams Up With Manfrotto to Launch Mobile Kits for Vloggers and Creators

Following the introduction of the MKE 200, an affordable directional on-camera microphone, Sennheiser now announced the MKE 400, a compact shotgun mic. Those directional microphones are complemented with the new XS Lav omnidirectional clip-on lavalier microphone and a 2.4GHz wireless transmission system. And to be able to offer a complete set of solutions for today's bloggers and creatives that capture video and audio with smartphones and DSLR cameras, Sennheiser teamed up with Italian brand Manfrotto to create a series of new Mobile Kits.

Targeting podcasters, live streamers, gamers, and remote workers, Earthworks Audio is entering the growing USB space. Earthworks released ICON, a studio-quality USB microphone, and ICON PRO, a broadcast-quality XLR streaming microphone. Both products enhance the quality and experience of remote working, podcasting, gaming, and home recording. For the new ICON design, Earthworks partnered with Triad-Orbit to create a custom desktop microphone stand.

Inspired by the Shure SM7B, which quickly became an icon among many musicians, podcasters and creatives forced to work from home, the new Shure MV7 is a dynamic microphone with both USB and XLR outputs for use with computers and professional interfaces alike. Basically, the MV7 expands on the famous cardioid studio microphone with software features. Users can connect via USB and explore additional set-up features and Auto Level Mode within the complementary ShurePlus MOTIV app, which allows controlling vocal tone, and distance-effect from the microphone.

Harman Professional Solutions announced the new JBL Professional One Series 104-BT desktop reference monitors with Bluetooth 5. The new design features a single coaxial driver that delivers clear, detailed sound while mixing and editing. The new compact and very affordable speakers were designed to enable content creators and audio professionals to stream accurate, studio-quality audio via Bluetooth or playback audio using a standard wired connection.

TASCAM has introduced three new TM-series condenser microphones and the new TM-AM-series microphone stands and booms, including a stand with a counterweight, a broadcast-style microphone boom, and a tripod stand. The new products have multiple applications but are ideal for podcasters and videographers. The series now includes the TM-90BM boundary condenser, the TM-95GN gooseneck electret condenser, and the TM-150SG supercardioid shotgun microphones.
