PK Sound Introduces Trinity Install Line Array Element

PK Sound, the robotic line array company from Calgary, Alberta, has released an installation-focused iteration of Trinity, its flagship large-format line array element. Trinity Install brings the voicing and coverage control features of the Trinity family to performance installations and live event spaces in discreet new all-black enclosures. Instead of the fully robotic features of the touring models, vertical and horizontal angles are set during installation using a fixed rigging system.

JBL Professional introduced FIR (Finite Impulse Response) Tunings for its AE (Application Engineered) Series, providing further enhanced performance for the premium installation loudspeaker line. 70 individual AE Series FIR filter files ensure support for a wide range of configurations and applications, optimizing frequency response and phase response to a finer degree of precision than traditionally possible with standard IIR “parameter-based” filters.

Studio Technologies has released a Dante Master Clock that provides precise timing signals for applications that utilize Dante Audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology. The Model 5401 implements a high-performance IEEE 1588 precision time protocol (PTP) server, compatible with the requirements of Dante and capable of simultaneously supporting the timing needs of up to hundreds of Dante-compatible devices.

Fulcrum Acoustic has announced their latest innovative product, the CCX1295 single 12-Inch Subcardioid Coaxial Loudspeaker, expanding its range of high-performance installation solutions. Unlike conventional loudspeakers that trade off low frequency (LF) directional control for compact enclosures, Fulcrum's Passive Cardioid Technology enables the CCX1295 to achieve unprecedented LF/HF control for a product of its size.

Networked media systems specialist Biamp Systems, introduced its all-new Tesira amplifiers. Allen & Heath has launched new Chrome Editions of its Qu series compact digital mixers to mark the launch of Qu v1.8 Chrome firmware in mid-October, which adds major new features including Automatic Mic Mixing, a Spectrogram and additional monitor mixes. The Chrome refresh reaches the brand’s compact range, following a similar strategy announced for the GLD series earlier in 2015.

At the 2015 InfoComm show in Orlando, Klipsch announced the launch of its KI Series II permanent installation speakers with seven new speaker models, available in three finishes – black, white and a stainable raw. All the new “made in the USA” speakers use Klipsch’s proprietary Tractrix Horn technology.
