Apple Releases Swift Programming Language as Open Source

In the hope that developer contributions will help make Swift even better and available on more platforms, Apple announced that its Swift programming language is now open source. As an open source language, the broad community of developers - from app developers to educational institutions to enterprises - can contribute to new Swift features and optimizations and help bring Swift to new computing platforms.

Following a very successful crowdsourcing campaign on KickStarter, LabNation started a new oscilloscope revolution with the introduction of the SmartScope, an open-source measurement device at an affordable price. The device works with OS X, Linux, Windows, Android and iOS (jailbroken).

NimbX Technology is currently promoting its new customizable Bluetooth portable speaker concept, with built-in RGB lights and Bone Conductive Technology - using surface vibration to increase volume and bass. The SoGo Mini also features a customizable app to control volume, the RGB lights and other functions. NimbX is currently looking to fund the SoGo Mini on Kickstarter.
