DPA 4006 Microphone Withstands The Rigors Of Space Travel To Capture Audio From The Surface Of Mars

NASA’s Mars Perseverance Rover touched down on the Red Planet, and for the first time the agency fitted microphones in the exploration system so we can all listen to the planet's sounds. DPA Microphones was selected to take part in the historic mission. Outfitted with DPA’s 4006 Omnidirectional Microphone, MMA-A Digital Audio Interface and MMP-G Modular Active Cable, the rover provided the first sounds from the surface of Mars.
