Nadja Wallaszkovits Assumes Role as President of the Audio Engineering Society

The AES announced the ascension of Nadja Wallaszkovits to the office of President, taking on the role as of January 1, 2019. "Having worked with Nadja for many years as part of the AES team, we look forward to having her serve in the role of president, as the Society continues our mission to promote science and education in the field of audio engineering. Nadja’s knowledge of audio engineering technologies and experience within the AES will be a valuable asset in the coming year," states AES Past-President David Scheirman.

The Audio Engineering Society has released the list of winning candidates from the balloting in the 2017 AES international elections. The newly elected officers will assume their roles in October, shortly after the end of the 143rd International AES Convention in New York. Entering the office of President-Elect is Nadja Wallaszkovits, who will serve first on the AES Board of Governors and Executive Committee as President-Elect, fully assuming the Presidency in October 2018 for a one-year term.
