Studio Technologies Releases Model 5401 Dante Master Clock

Studio Technologies has released a Dante Master Clock that provides precise timing signals for applications that utilize Dante Audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology. The Model 5401 implements a high-performance IEEE 1588 precision time protocol (PTP) server, compatible with the requirements of Dante and capable of simultaneously supporting the timing needs of up to hundreds of Dante-compatible devices.

MUTEC announced its new REF 10 audiophile reference master clock, which is able to generate 10 MHz signals and significantly improve digital playback systems. Engineered around a handcrafted, ultra-low phase noise (i.e. jitter) oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) made in Germany, the REF 10 delivers industry-leading performance and exceptional sound quality.

With the update, the MC-3+USB gets optimized re-clocking algorithms, PCM/DSD auto-detection and improved operation.

Antelope Audio announced that its widely anticipated Pure2 mastering-grade 24/192 kHz AD/DA stereo converter and master clock, which is now shipping and priced at $2,195, will be demonstrated during the 14th annual Gearfest, to be held on June 12 and 13 at Sweetwater Sound’s headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN.

Another major product launch from Antelope Audio, at the 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles, is the new Pure2, a two-channel mastering converter from the renown manufacturer of master clocks and synchronization products. According to Antelope, the new Pure2 features best in class conversion quality, dual DAC architecture and Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) technology derived from Antelope's Flagship Trinity Master Clock.
