Apple Updates MacBook Pro with 8-Core Processor

With Apple getting ready for its traditional WWDC event on June 3, where the company usually focuses on OS updates and technology announcements for developers, there was a discreet refresh of its best-selling professional notebook. Now with an 8-core processor, the 15-inch MacBook Pro is the fastest Mac notebook ever. The new machine, featuring the new configurable Touch Bar is clearly targeted at the graphics creation and video-editing markets.

OWC, the renowned manufacturer and upgrade provider for Apple and PC enthusiasts, announced the OWC DEC, an expansion solution designed specifically for the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro. The OWC DEC expansion was designed to fit directly with the new MacBook Pro models, in a way making it look more like the 2012 MacBook Pro iteration. It adds all the ports and slots that some people say are missing from those models... for those who don't care about "thinner" laptops.
