Expanding its considerable portfolio of high-frequency transducers for pro audio applications, Lavoce Italiana unveiled three new 1.4" exit large format compression drivers during the NAMM 2023 show. The new titanium diaphragm DF14.300T, DN14.300TK and DN14.301T compression drivers are now available. Basically, the three new models are the result of the company's Italian R&D Center to meet market demand with even further options in Neo and ferrite, with competitive specifications and features.

Lavoce products are now available in North America directly from the company's group US division Elettromedia Corp. new sales and logistical center in Nashville, Tennessee, to supply and support its manufacturer and distribution partners. Lavoce Italiana offers a full range of HF and LF transducers for professional audio, and a full catalog of guitar and bass speakers for the MI market. Its Italian R&D Center is based in Potenza Picena, Macerata, and all products are manufactured at their wholly owned modern production facility near Shanghai.

At ISE 2023, Lavoce Italiana announced the launch of their first 1" exit annular diaphragm design compression drivers, DN10.143 and DF10.143. During the Barcelona show the company also presented their new 6.5" ferrite common HF/LF magnet coaxial, CSF061.71K. In 2022, the company with a 35-year heritage designing and manufacturing loudspeakers reported the highest growth rates since its inception, and 2023 is already looking even stronger.

For this Test Bench, Vance Dickason characterizes the new WAN103.01 10" woofer from Italian OEM transducer manufacturer, LaVoce. All LaVoce products are designed at its headquarters in Potenza Picena, Italy, but with the logistic and price advantage of being manufactured at its purpose-built ISO 9001-certified production facility in China. Test Bench: LaVoce DF10.172K 1” Compression Driver

Vance Dickason welcomes a new company that, for the first time, submitted products for characterization. The DF10.172K is a new 1" compression driver from LaVoce, an Italian company founded in 2008 by Elettromedia, with its R&D center located in Potenza Picena, Italy, and manufacturing based in Jiashan, China (near Shanghai), its own purpose-built ISO 9001-certified production facility.
