MediaTek Enhances On-Device Generative AI Processing

MediaTek is already powering more than two billion connected edge devices every year and now the company confirmed that it is working closely with Meta's Llama 2 next-generation open-source Large Language Model (LLM). Combining this recently announced LLM with its latest APUs and NeuroPilot AI Platform, MediaTek aims to build a complete edge computing ecosystem designed to accelerate AI application development on smartphones, consumer connected devices, vehicles, smart home, etc.

Sensory announced the launch of VoiceHub 2.0, a new and improved version of the company's web portal for the development of wake words and custom voice recognition user interfaces. The updated solution now integrates generative AI-powered tools, making it an even more powerful, allowing developers to quickly create custom voice UIs capable of understanding spoken commands and natural language.

SoundHound AI launched SoundHound Chat AI for Automotive, an in-vehicle voice assistant. SoundHound Chat AI for Automotive will be the first product to offer an in-vehicle voice assistant that combines Generative AI capabilities, like ChatGPT, with an established best-in-class voice assistant. The platform lets automakers provide customers with voice-enabled access to a combination of real-time information domains and Generative AI models which are proving popular.
