Kali Audio Announces HP-1 Headphones with Selectable Tuning Modes

Kali Audio announced the HP-1 closed-back headphones intended for studio use. The design is DSP-powered, allowing users to enjoy a neutral, accurate representation of their mix, as well as the ability to hear how their work will sound in bass-heavy or cheap consumer headphones. Apart from working in conventional wired mode, the HP-1 headphones are also Bluetooth-capable (SBC/AAC) for wireless operation and even feature active noise cancellation for when the user needs total immersion.

Kali Audio has announced the SM-8, an 8" model in their top-tier Project Santa Monica, or SM-Series, line of studio monitors, which already includes a 5" model. The US-based brand of studio monitors keeps expanding its successful formula, leveraging the proven 3-way coincident architecture with more refined components and craftsmanship in each iteration. The more expensive product from the company, the new SM-Series aims for improved quality for critical production applications.

The Kali Audio LP-6 Powered Studio Monitors are speakers with a plain, business-like appearance, that we would easily be misled to think are just another run-of-the-mill home studio affordable offering. If it wasn't for the fact that Kali Audio is a new California-based company formed by a group of (now former) JBL employees.
