IFA 2025: World’s Most Inspiring Tech Show to Improve on All Fronts

Preparations for IFA 2025 are in full swing, and booking levels for the Berlin trade show have already surpassed those of the previous year. After the successful IFA 2024, celebrating the show's 100th anniversary, the world's largest trade fair for consumer and home technologies continues to expand and improve. The 2025 edition now sees the IFA Global Markets B2B sourcing platform return to the same Messe Berlin complex and take over Hall 26.

Following other trade show cancelations already announced for the year in Europe, Messe Berlin and gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH have jointly announced that IFA 2021 will not take place in September as a physical live event, as originally planned. The decision was made following detailed conversations with public health experts and multiple stakeholders. The leading trade show for consumer and home electronics will return only in 2022.

The International Funkausstellung (or The International Consumer Electronics Show) in Berlin is probably the most important annual event for the consumer electronics industry, introducing new products in time for the most important season of the year for sales. IFA 2016 featured more than 1,800 exhibitors and attracted 240,000 visitors, with the majority of trade visitors coming from outside Germany. The 2016 floor space was already the larger in the show’s history. Expect the 2017 edition to be even larger!...

Much like CES in Las Vegas is one of those events in the industry calendar that no company involved in the Consumer Electronics segment can afford to miss, every year The International Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin is a unique event allowing a broader overview of the market and a clear international flavor, expanding every year. IFA 2016 will take place September 2 - 7 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds (Expo Center City).
