Continental's Automotive Systems Business Now Successfully Listed as Aumovio

Continental's Automotive Systems business, which was renamed as Aumovio, is now a fully independent company that has officially been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Under the slogan "We Make Mobility Safe, Exciting, Connected, and Autonomous", the company, better known in the audio industry for its Ac2ated Sound planar panels, is now well positioned as a strong player in the automotive and mobility sectors.

Warwick Acoustics already achieved significant recognition with its unique electrostatic transducers, currently used in the world's best sounding headphones (unfortunately also the most expensive and only available with a dedicated amplifier and electronics). Now, the UK-based audio technology company says that it is primed to disrupt the $8 billion in-car audio market with its ultra-light and low-power patented electrostatic technology, key in modern automotive systems.

Expanding on its successful car audio partnership announcement at CES 2020, Sennheiser and Continental’s speakerless immersive audio system for vehicles was selected as a CES Innovation Awards 2021 Honoree. The new audio system explores new ways to enhance in-car entertainment experiences by integrating Sennheiser’s patented AMBEO 3D audio technology with Continental’s speakerless Ac2ated Sound system.
