Focal Naim America Adds Thorens for US Sales Distribution

Focal Naim America announced it will be the US distributor of Thorens. With the incorporation of Thorens, Focal Naim America will add a lineup of high-end audio made in Germany to its current audio partners. Throughout the company's history, Thorens has developed several devices that have become milestones in the history of consumer electronics and is the oldest consumer electronics manufacturer in the world, founded in 1883 in St. Croix, Switzerland.

Naim Audio, the British specialist with almost 50 years of hi-fi expertise, announced new and higher-quality streaming radio options for users of its streaming speakers, systems and separates – all freely available. Dedicated Naim Jazz HD and Naim Classical HD stations will join a revamped Naim Radio HD stream; all three available in up to CD quality. These will join a dedicated HD Radio category to browse and enjoy from the Naim App.

Sound Performance Lab, or SPL, the mysterious audio designer and manufacturer from Germany, has announced a new Phonitor se headphone amp, now shipping in two models, with and without an AKM DAC768xs D/A converter. The new model is an entry into the SPL Professional Fidelity Phonitor range and has the same audio signal amplification as its bigger brothers Phonitor x and Phonitor xe. The SPL line of products is distributed by Focal-Naim America in the US and Canada.
