Knowles Partners with Lucid Hearing to Enable Hearing Aid Premium Audio Quality

Knowles announced the availability of the GM series receiver, a new high-performance, two-way balanced armature receiver designed specifically to enable hearing health applications to deliver audiophile-quality music performance. Knowles and Lucid Hearing have partnered to bring the hearing health industry the Westone Audio High Fidelity DWT, a premium hearing aid with a Receiver in Canal (RIC) that delivers exceptional sound quality for music-listening.

A familiar name in in-ear monitors for athletes, musicians, music producers or music enthusiasts, Westone Audio built a strong business with innovative products that have been praised for many years in its market segment. That division is a part of a larger enhance hearing health and communications business. For Texas-based Lucid Audio, the Westone acquisition perfectly complements its strategy in the pro and consumer in-ear monitor business, following the acquisition of Etymotic in 2018.
