Dirac to Equip New All-Electric Car with Improved Audio Experience

Chinese automotive brand Polestar is developing its latest Polestar 2 model, an all-electric five-door fastback that hit the car show circuit in 2019. According to Dirac, the project is breaking new ground with innovative in-car technologies that improve the in-vehicle experience. The Polestar 2 intends to offer a new level of in-vehicle audio performance, thanks to an integrated audio system developed by Swedish audio pioneer Dirac and Harman International.

Underscoring the on-going dramatic growth of its High Performance Audio business unit under the leadership of Niklas Thorin, Dirac Research announced the appointment of Lars Carlsson as General Manager of Automotive Audio, a new business unit that was previously contained within High Performance Audio. Lars joins Dirac with more than 25-years of experience in product engineering for the transportation industry.
