Sony HT-AX7 Portable Theater System Makes Spatial Sound More Convenient

Sony Electronics announced the HT-AX7, a portable theater system with 360 Spatial Sound Mapping, that offers a new way to enjoy entertainment throughout the home. The new HT-AX7 Portable Theater System promises to offer a cinematic sound experience that goes behind what is possible with single omnidirectional designs. By simply placing the three-speaker system around a room, the HT-AX7 delivers a captivating audio experience to fill any space.

When it comes to new home audio designs, IFA 2022 was once again the soundbar show, with all major brands showcasing new models. Among those brands, Harman introduced four new soundbars, including the feature-packed JBL Bar 1000, which delivers a true home cinema experience without wires. Marketed as 7.1.4 channel system, the JBL Bar 1000 effectively uses four up-firing drivers to create an enveloping sphere of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D surround sound. The JBL Bar 300, JBL Bar 500 and JBL Bar 800 join the JBL Bar 1000 to complete the all-new JBL Bar Series.
