Positive Grid Shows New Dimensions in Guitar Amplification with Spark MINI

San Diego, CA-based Positive Grid introduced Spark MINI – a completely new concept in guitar amps, combining a battery-powered, portable combo that is also a Bluetooth speaker with enhanced DSP for "Multi-Dimensional Sound". The product was designed by the music software company that created the BIAS analog circuit emulation, Impulse Responses (IR) and convolution engine for guitar players. Positive Grid had already ventured into hardware, but this new portable combo is all the more surprising.

Positive Grid announced Spark, a smart guitar amp and accompanying app (iOS/Android) driven by intelligent technology to offer real-time accompaniment, Auto Chord detection and intuitive practice features for players of all levels. Spark also functions as a full-range, 40-Watt combo amp and features a variety of tone-shaping options plus amp and fx modeling built upon the company’s award-winning BIAS engine. The intelligent guitar amplifier and proprietary voice-activated app generate real-time practice tools and backing accompaniment.
