iZotope RX 9 Makes Audio Repair and Enhancement Even More Intelligent

Audio processing software experts - and pioneers in intelligent audio technology - iZotope has released RX 9, the latest update to its popular post-production software tool for audio repair and enhancement, and incorporated it into version 6 of the RX Post Production Suite software bundle. According to the Boston, Massachusetts-based company, this update revamps favorite modules with new technology to address emerging audio capture and production issues.

Celemony Software is placing the ARA Audio Random Access exchange interface under an open source license as well as releasing a comprehensive software development kit. This will make ARA integration even easier for digital audio workstation (DAW) and plug-in manufacturers. ARA was created as an integration extension for audio plug-in interfaces, allowing greater amount of audio information exchange, such as key, tempo, pitch, and rhythm, for an entire song.
