Ambiq Announces Apollo510B Energy-Efficient Wireless SoC

Ambiq Micro announced the expansion of the Apollo5 family with the Apollo510B wireless System-on-Chip (SoC). The Apollo5 family is a cutting-edge line of ultra-low-power, AI-focused microcontrollers and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions designed for next-generation always-on, smart devices such as hearables, supporting high-fidelity audio. Integrating a dedicated 48MHz network processor and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 radio, the Apollo510B will enable robust wireless connectivity for any power-constrained edge AI applications.

Ambiq has introduced a new solution targeting over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids and hearables that implements AI-powered speech enhancement technology using its latest Apollo510 microcontroller (MCU).

Ambiq introduced the Neural Network Speech Enhancer (NNSE), the latest addition to its neuralSPOT's Model Zoo - a highly optimized AI model that effectively removes background noise from speech on the device in real-time, allowing clean speech capture in noisy environments. As with all Ambiq Model Zoo components, NNSE includes scripts and tools to help developers add speech de-noising capabilities to their applications.

Ambiq introduced the new Ambiq Voice-on-SPOT (VoS) Kit, designed for manufacturers to introduce voice-command into their IoT devices with faster time-to-market. The Ambiq VoS Kit offers a complete, always-on, always-listening, voice-to-cloud solution for local voice commands and/or voice assistant integration in battery-powered connected devices.
