Cirrus Logic Expands Pro Audio Portfolio with New Range of ADCs and DACs

Cirrus Logic announced the launch of its latest additions to the Pro Audio product family: two analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and two digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that are designed to deliver exceptional audio performance at a cost-effective price point. Highlighting affordability without compromising audio quality, these new devices are tailored for hifi playback, installed audio systems, professional audio setups, musical instruments, and USB audio interfaces.

Microchip announced the expansion of its Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) product line with the MCP48FXBXX families of low-power, single and dual-channel, 8-, 10- and 12-bit resolution devices, featuring Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The six-member MCP48FEBXX DAC family offers integrated EEPROM to save DAC settings at power-down.
