Bluetooth Headset Sales to Grow 12% Over Next Five Years

Strategy Analytics reports that global Bluetooth headset revenue growth will improve modestly in 2016, even as mono headset sales volumes continue steady declines. Still, global Bluetooth headset sales will grow 12% during the next five years with the stereo category rising steadily.

Consumers are flocking to connected wireless speakers. The popularity of mobile devices and changing consumer habits in media consumption are not only increasing demand for wirelessly connected audio devices, but also rapidly altering the home audio landscape, according to new research from market analytics firm IHS Technology.

With more than 3,600 exhibitors across the largest show floor in history with more than 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space, breaking last year’s previously set record of 2.06 million net square feet, the 2015 International CES is poised to be a record-breaking show. Owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the 2015 International CES runs through Friday, January 9.
