ICEpower Introduces Most Powerful Amplifier Module to Date

ICEpower is strengthening its pro audio lineup of amplifier modules with two new members. The ICEpower 2000AS HV (High-Voltage) is a fully integrated audio power amplifier module including a universal mains power supply with PFC as well as ErP and Energy Star compliant standby. The new amplifier module will be available with one amplifier channel of 2000W (2000AS1 HV) and two amplifier channels of 2000W (2000AS2 HV). According to the Danish company, the new 2000AS HV amplifier module builds on the legacies of the existing 700AS and 1200AS modules, as a power solution targeted for live sound experiences.

Amidst worldwide supply chain issues, Pro Audio Technology (PRO) - a manufacturer of high-output loudspeakers and DSP loudspeaker controllers - created the MA series to provide its integrators with a reliable and available amplifier solution for systems designed with PRO and third-party audio products. Originally announced at the time of CEDIA 2021, the new line of modular multichannel amplifiers consists of five models, the MA-4400, MA-4242, MA-9900, MA-9942, and MA-9999.

M&K Sound, the subwoofer pioneers recognized globally in the film mixing studios and home theater markets, announced the availability of three brand new THX Certified subwoofers, the X15+, X12+ and X10+. The new subwoofer series, which includes the company’s first THX Certified Dominus 15-inch X15+ model, offers increased power output and new drivers, ready to boost any audio environment with reference bass.

Trinnov Audio, the French designer and manufacturer of reference audio processors for home theaters, high-end hi-fi, professional audio, and commercial cinemas, announced the release of the Amplitude16, a new high channel count power amplifier. Designed for immersive home theaters, with custom integration in mind, the Amplitude16 offers a versatile power amplifier option, providing integrators with the unique ability to meet diverse channel counts and power requirements with exceptional rack efficiency.

Parasound has added a pair of two-channel and four-channel power amplifiers to its ZoneMaster line for professional audio systems installers. The Parasound ZoneMaster ZM 2 and ZM 4 pack a lot of power into relatively small packages with each channel rated at 150 watts into the typical 4-ohm and 2-ohm loads of architectural speakers, and 120 watts for 8-ohm hi-fi speakers. In the hands of skilled installers, these amps can be used to resolve multi-zone design challenges and provide new opportunities.

Parasound has introduced a 12-channel, 2-ohm stable power amplifier for commercial and residential audio systems installers with flexible power options for stereo audio in six rooms (zones), and up to 24 individual speakers. Uniquely, the Parasound ZoneMaster ZM 12 drives two channels at 120 watts each, 8 ohms, with the remaining 10 channels at 60 watts each. With 4-ohm speakers typical of architectural audio, the ratings are 150 and 100 watts respectively. There are also A and B speaker outputs for each channel. With this upgraded performance and features, the ZM 12 represents a significant advance over its 12 x 50W predecessor, the ZM 1250.

Ideal for active speakers, studio monitors and stereo amplifiers, the new ICEpower 200AS2 amplifier module is now in stock and ready for purchase, confirms the Danish class-D audio amplification company. Part of the AS amplifier family, a series of highly competitive, high efficiency, ultracompact and lightweight modules, "ready to rock’n roll", the new ICEpower 200AS2 features a capable 300W fly back power supply, combined with a 2x 215W class D amplifier.

Now HEDD Audio has announced that, before the end of 2019, the company intends to ship the new HEDDphone – the first full-range headphone design based on HEDD / ADAM founder and speaker veteran Klaus Heinz’ world-known Air Motion Transformer driver.
