Studer Implements AES67 Integration via Digigram Interface

Harman’s Studer announced AES67 integration for its Infinity Core mixing engine, which drives the company’s flagship Vista X and Vista V digital audio consoles. AES67 compatibility makes Studer’s Infinity Core the first x86-based AoIP core, incorporating standard off-the-shelf IT components and a Linux operating system. The implementation is based on Digigram’s LX-IP AES67 PCIe Sound Card.

At the IBC 2014 show in Amsterdam, Digigram will introduce a new low-latency, high-density LX-MADI PCIe Sound Card. The new card offers 64/64 MADI I/O and a latency down to 3 ms. Digigram will also feature a new MADI optical interface option on its LX-IP RAVENNA PCIe Sound Card.

Digigram is once again pushing forward technological development, promising to show RAVENNA/AES67 connectivity in practice with the company’s IQOYA range of audio-over-IP (AoIP) codecs. At the IBC 2014 show in Amsterdam, the company intends to show how RAVENNA connectivity enables greater flexibility in audio infrastructures.

Digigram confirmed availability of its LX-IP RAVENNA AES67-Enabled PCIe Sound Card with optional MADI interface. The French IP audio and IP video pioneer also confirms it will be displaying extended RAVENNA/AES67 solutions during the IBC 2014 Show in Amsterdam, including a new LX-MADI PCIe Sound Card.
