Focusrite plc Acquires DSP and Amplifier Experts Linea Research Holdings

Focusrite plc, the British music and audio conglomerate company that also owns Martin Audio among other brands - and recently created Optimal Audio - announced the acquisition of Linea Research Holdings Ltd, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of professional audio equipment. The acquisition allows Focusrite to add a very strong audio amplifier and signal processing company to the group, while the founders of Linea Research join the fast growing Focusrite Group.

While introducing an expanded range of network-enabled amplifiers in the Crown Audio DriveCore Install (DCi) series, Harman Professional continues to offer extensive networked system control capabilities in all its recent products. At ISE 2015, Harman also announced the introduction of BSS Audio’s Soundweb London BLU-DAN Dante to BLU link Bridge, which allows one or more BLU link devices to be integrated with a Dante network.
