According to Kevin Keele, Don's son who has supervised the project, "As the original site had not been substantially updated since 2010, the new site has been rebuilt from the ground up using modern technology to function as a faster, more accessible resource. The goal was to archive and centralize Don's decades of work for the benefit of the industry."
The re-launched site now features over 60 technical papers on subjects ranging from constant directivity horns to CBT arrays. The complete archive of over 80 full Audio magazine issues (1989-2000) containing Don's extensive loudspeaker reviews.
The launch coincided with Don's 85th birthday and there is a page to send Don Keele a birthday message and for those whose careers or passion were influenced by his work — from his designs at JBL and Electro-Voice to his papers for the AES — to leave a special, dedicated message on the site.

Don Keele's extensive collection of over sixty technical papers and preprints represents a profound contribution to the field of loudspeaker engineering, spanning topics from fundamental acoustic measurement to groundbreaking loudspeaker array technology. A significant portion of his work focuses on achieving constant directivity and uniform coverage, notably through his pioneering development and patenting of Constant Directivity (CD) loudspeaker horns and, more recently, his comprehensive research into Constant Beamwidth Transducer (CBT) loudspeaker arrays.
Keele’s papers also provide critical insights into areas such as low-frequency vented-box loudspeaker systems (including his AES Publication Award-winning work on nearfield sound-pressure measurement), loudspeaker maximum efficiency, and the use of computer-aided design and measurement systems like the TEF analyzer, all aimed at optimizing sound reproduction and system performance across various audio applications.
Don Keele is a frequent speaker at AES section meetings and workshops, has chaired several AES technical paper sessions, and is a member of the AES review board. A past member of the AES Board of Governors and past Vice President, Central Region USA/Canada of the AES, Keele is a fellow of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA).
