“Our goal has always been to deliver the most authentic sound possible – the kind that forges an emotional connection,” explains Grace Lo, President and Head of Global Marketing at KEF. “We designed the Coda W for those of us who love the ritual of vinyl – the magic of dropping a needle on a record, that moment of anticipation. With Coda W, you can get completely immersed in the depth of your records, appreciating the richness and nuance in every note, then switch to streaming a new track seamlessly. It’s about rediscovering your favorite songs like never before.”

At the heart of the Coda W speaker lies a large 5.25-inch 12th generation Uni-Q coaxial driver array, the result of decades of KEF’s acoustic expertise, backed by advanced simulation and precision engineering. This signature technology acts as a point source, with the tweeter positioned at the precise acoustic centre of the woofer and ensuring uniform dispersion throughout the room.
The new Coda W speakers also offer a combined 200 watts of system power. Both the primary and secondary speakers are equipped with dedicated amplifiers for the tweeter and woofer, delivering room-filling sound from the compact cabinets. To refine performance even further, KEF’s Music Integrity Engine - a proprietary suite of DSP algorithms - has been specially tuned for Coda W, enhancing overall performance.
The new KEF Coda W speakers are essentially engineered for seamless integration into any lifestyle, offering the freedom of wireless streaming and versatile wired connectivity. They can connect to both modern and classic audio sources, serving as a hub for high-fidelity sound.

Leveraging Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive, the new Coda W speakers offer high-quality, low-latency audio or CD-quality resolution up to 16-bit/44.1kHz with the aptX Lossless codec. For a modern listening experience, the Coda W speakers allow users to stream music wirelessly from a phone, tablet, or laptop. Bluetooth connectivity ensures a simple, convenient pairing process and the freedom to play audio instantly.
But the Coda W speakers also effortlessly embrace classic analog since they feature an integrated phono preamplifier that connects directly to almost any turntable without the need for additional equipment. And there’s also HDMI ARC to connect easily to any TV. Featuring a USB Type-C port input, the speakers also elevate computer audio, supporting high-resolution audio decoding up to 24-bit/192kHz. For further flexibility, an array of additional inputs including RCA and optical, accommodate sources such as CD players, Blu-ray players, and game consoles, making the Coda W a versatile audio hub.
For those desiring deeper bass, users will find a dedicated subwoofer output for easy connection to a compatible subwoofer, ideal to enhance a home theater experience. For greater placement flexibility, the optional KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter kit enables a pristine wireless connection, eliminating cable clutter.

Designed for seamless operation, the new KEF Coda W speakers feature intuitive top-panel buttons for quick access to essential functions and source switching. At the same time, the KEF Connect App puts complete control at the user’s fingertips. The app allows selecting EQ presets to match personal preferences, manage speaker settings, update the firmware, and explore the latest features — all from a single, intuitive interface.
The Coda W design combines a minimalist elegance with vintage-inspired lines from the original compact Coda speakers, through its clean, rectilinear lines and subtle detailing. Available in different colors, the cabinets bring understated elegance to any living room, study, or home office. The KEF Coda W speakers are available in five carefully curated finishes: Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium.
A 3-meter interconnect speaker cable is included as standard. For greater positioning flexibility, there is also an optional 8-meter C-Link interspeaker cable. Additionally, the Coda W speakers can be paired with optional SQ1 floor stands, which offer a stable platform for elevated positioning and optimal listening height. The new Coda W speakers will retail for $999.99 (pair).
