Dell Launches First Wireless Earbuds with Adaptive ANC for Workplace Audio

September 25 2025, 02:00
Dell Technologies introduced Dell Pro Plus Earbuds (EB525) to its portfolio of enterprise-focused audio products with a distinct feature set aimed at office users, hybrid workers, and IT teams. These professional-grade wireless earbuds with adaptive ANC are the world's first certified for Microsoft Teams (Open Office) and Zoom, suppressing surrounding noise and conversations from all directions. A design for collaboration and hybrid workers.

In a market already overcrowded with TWS earbuds and with workers increasingly bringing their own devices to the office, Dell decided to explore a solution that is clearly targeted at work, achieving the performance normally associated with professional or call-center headsets, without the stigma associated with those devices. The new Dell Pro Plus Earbuds are personal devices designed for open offices that deliver clean audio with an AI-based noise-cancelling microphone, combined with advanced noise filtering and voice optimization, solving the common challenges of modern workstyles.

According to Dell, the AI-powered noise-canceling microphone leverages a deep neural network trained on 500+ million noise samples, allowing voice isolation with precision. This is complemented by the design's Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) implementation that dynamically minimizes background noise in busy environments, while Enhanced Transparency Mode keeps users aware of their surroundings when needed. Future-ready updates are also easily deployed via Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM) as the AI model and noise database evolve.

The earbuds are also designed for all-day comfort and allow easy deployment and manageability for IT teams, making them perfect for the office setting when given to employees. As Dell underlines, the Dell Pro Plus Earbuds are the world's first earbuds to earn Microsoft Teams Open Office Certification, optimized to empower effortless communication anywhere. And for simplified IT management, these support a centralized dashboard for easy device configuration, firmware updates, and fleet oversight, besides being designed to integrate with Dell laptops, docks, and software.

Built to withstand real-world conditions with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, the earbuds come with a compact charging case that offers portable, flexible connectivity. The Bluetooth 5.3 design is LE Audio and Auracast ready, and supports multi-host pairing support up to eight devices. A Dell Pair feature ensures quick setup and smooth transitions using a compact dongle (Dell Wireless USB-C Audio Receiver) that fits neatly into the earbud case for easy portability.

Equalizers, presets, and transparency settings can be customized through the Dell Audio Mobile App, where users can also configure the multiple touch controls to select ANC/Transparency modes, adjust volume, take calls, and play/stop music. The earbuds are rated for up to 5 hours of talk and 8 hours of standard use with ANC On, while the fast charging USB-C case delivers an additional 33 hours and can be fully charged in under 2 hours.

The Dell Pro Plus Earbuds retail for $229.99 and include four (XS, S, M, L) eartips for a perfect fit and extended wear.
