Creative Launches Aurvana Ace 3 High-Resolution Audio TWS Earbuds Powered by xMEMS and Mimi

Creative Technology launched the Aurvana Ace 3 true wireless earbuds, refreshing the brand's flagship design, featuring a dual-driver with an xMEMS tweeter and a Bluetooth 5.4 radio, ready for LE Audio and Auracast. The Aurvana Ace 3 earbuds set a new benchmark for Creative, now combining a Snapdragon Sound processor with aptX Lossless and LDAC support, adaptive noise cancellation, and Mimi Sound Personalization.

Precisely two years from the release of the original Creative Aurvana Ace and Creative Aurvana Ace 2 true wireless earbuds, both models featuring solid-state MEMS-based drivers from xMEMS Labs, Creative Technology updates the flagship design. It’s also barely a year from the global launch of the Aurvana Ace Mimi true wireless earbuds, which basically added personalization options to the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 model.

Now, Creative Technology announced the Aurvana Ace 3, a new and improved model powered by Snapdragon Sound that is intended to reset the company's ambitious design in an increasingly competitive market. The updated TWS earbuds now support high-resolution audio, delivered wirelessly thanks to introducing support for Snapdragon Sound with aptX Lossless and Sony's LDAC codec, offering the two highest available streaming options over Classic Bluetooth: CD-quality lossless, or high-resolution at 24-bit/48kHz, when connected to a compatible source device and high-resolution audio content.

Once again, the Creative earbuds allow tailored sound with Mimi Sound Personalization, which in this case benefits from the dual-driver topology to allow even more extreme tolerances without distortion. Because no two ears hear the same, Mimi's technology assesses hearing and adjusts playback in real time, revealing all the layers of music — from subtle harmonics to crisp background vocals — with newfound clarity.

Expanding on the partnership with xMEMS, the Creative Aurvana Ace 3 is engineered with a hybrid xMEMS plus a custom-tuned dynamic driver system, combining solid-state precision with an even more powerful bass extension. If the original Aurvana Ace Mimi already offered a glimpse of the potential offered by the xMEMS driver to deliver crisp highs and lifelike detail, the combination with the dynamic driver is now improved for a result that is described as more impactful.

And this is absolutely vital, since Mimi Sound Personalization adapts audio in real-time to a user's hearing profile and sometimes requires taking the two drivers to extremes, depending on each user's needs. The updated Aurvana Ace 3 platform is also supposed to improve the reliability of operation, particularly with users’ interactions in the touch controls.

Now featuring smart wear detection, the earbuds auto-pause/resume when users remove or reinsert the earbuds, and the hybrid Adaptive Noise Cancellation intelligently adjusts to the environment. The full potential of the new Aurvana Ace 3 earbuds is also unlocked with the personalized settings and feature enhancements delivered over time via the Creative app for iOS and Android.

The new Aurvana Ace 3 earbuds are available now in select markets in Asia, with global availability coming soon. Price TBC but shouldn't be much different from the Aurvana Ace 2 earbuds.
