Campfire Audio Celebrates 10 Years with Flagship Andromeda 10 IEMs

September 16 2025, 01:10
Campfire Audio announced the Andromeda 10, a ten-driver evolution of its iconic flagship earphones. Launched in celebration of the company’s tenth anniversary, the new Andromeda 10 IEMs build on the legacy of the original 2016 Andromeda with expanded performance, refined design, and two limited launch editions that mark a decade of Campfire’s innovation in personal audio. All were unveiled at CanJam SoCal 2025 and are now available on pre-order.

Since its debut in 2016, the Andromeda earphones have stood as one of the most iconic designs in the HiFi IEM world. With its signature green finish, just-north-of-neutral tuning, and instantly recognizable design language, Andromeda helped propel Campfire Audio to the forefront of the industry. Over the past decade, Campfire has refined the model through countless experiments, special editions, and alternate tunings, making the Andromeda name a core part of the brand’s identity.

The new Andromeda 10 IEMs reimagine that defining design with a bold technical leap. Expanding the original’s five-driver configuration to ten custom balanced armatures (4 low, 4 mid, 2 high), Andromeda 10 delivers greater clarity, dynamic range, and extension across the frequency spectrum. It also introduces 2-pin connectors for the first time in a Campfire IEM, reflecting direct feedback from the brand’s community of listeners and setting a new standard for the company’s flagship line.

To mark the anniversary in style, Campfire is releasing two Special Edition models, limited to 250 units each worldwide. These feature polished black PVD stainless steel housings paired with Damascus steel lids, available in black or gold finishes. Each Special Edition ships with a premium cable crafted from 7N OCC gold-plated copper, designed to pair with Andromeda 10’s performance.

Like all Campfire Audio products, Andromeda 10 is crafted by hand in Portland, Oregon, where the company’s team designs, assembles, and tests each earphone with the same care that has defined the brand since 2015. This commitment to craft, paired with a passion for sound, ensures that the anniversary release embodies both the spirit of the original and the innovation of a company that continues to push boundaries ten years later.

“Since its debut in 2016, the Andromeda has been a favorite among audiophiles and quickly became our most iconic IEM to date at Campfire Audio,” says Ken Ball, founder of Campfire Audio. “To honor ten years of Campfire products, we’ve taken that championed design and elevated it with everything we’ve learned over the past decade, from tuning refinements to new driver configurations, to create Andromeda 10.”

The Andromeda 10 Special Editions will be priced at $2,499 and limited to 250 units per finish in black or gold Damascus. Pre-orders open in late September, with shipments expected to begin in mid-October 2025. The Andromeda 10 (Classic Green) will follow at $1,699 and will be available in the coming months after the Special Edition shipments are completed.

During CanJam SoCal 2025, Campfire celebrated its 10-year anniversary with the new Andromeda 10 Special Editions, and showcasing the Axion, new consumer-level earbuds priced at $249, featuring an in-line mic and built-in USB-C DAC, together with the Relay DAC/AMP, featuring the premium AKM SEQ 4493 DAC chip.
Campfire also demonstrated the Grand Luna (pictured below), the latest evolution in its planar magnetic IEMs, and its first planar-BA hybrid, as well as the Time Link Cable, a six-conductor hybrid cable originally included with the Grand Luna, and now available separately. The cable ships with modular connectors (3.5mm, 4.4mm balanced, and USB-C DAC).

"2025 has been an incredibly prolific year for us," says Ken Ball, founder of Campfire Audio. "We started strong with the launch of Clara, followed by a broad range of innovative products at multiple price points. And now, we’re closing the year with what we consider our biggest achievement yet: the Andromeda 10."
