In his new role, Adams will lead Audinate's platform strategy to evolve from its origins in audio networking and deliver an interoperable audio, video, control and management platform. Building on an established and strong foundation across the millions of Dante-enabled devices in the field, Adams role is to lead Audinate's initiatives to deliver cohesive platform software, products and service offerings for designers, integrators and users of audio and video systems across a wide spectrum of vertical markets & applications. He will report to Nick Peace, Chief Strategy Officer, and will operate from the United States.

Prior to joining Audinate, TJ Adams held product management and engineering roles at Com-Net Software, the largest provider of integrated flight information display systems and passenger communication systems to airports, airlines and mass transit facilities in North America, later acquired by SITA. There, he and pioneering developers created first-generation software and networked-based products connecting displays and audio systems. These solutions were architected as enterprise IT software platforms, leveraging airport operational data and networked audio, video, and control processing.
Later in his career, he held senior roles in product management at Biamp Systems. He joined QSC in 2013 and was the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Management for Q-SYS, where he joined the founding developers of Q-SYS, and created the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Q-SYS Platform and Ecosystem, now fully based on Dante and AES67 industry-standard audio networking protocols.
TJ's professional background is in audio and video system engineering, network engineering and product management with expertise in market-driven product and technology strategy and product lifecycle management. With a deep background in AV and IT system design, software integration, and network engineering, TJ has a track record of successfully leading complex projects, including AV and IT integration for airports, convention centers, and enterprise audio conferencing systems.
